| May 2009 : I decided to take on a new "little" project. My mother in law got me the Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures by Caitlin Matthews and I'm starting at "A". There are no illustrations just text descriptions so I figured it would be a fun creative project to undertake. Here's the first of many.. description below: He is 2000 triangles and is using one 512 x 512 normal, spec, and color. I decided to go albino with this guy cause I thought it would be more interesting :)
Aardvark : In African Folklore, the aardvark or Ant-bear is much admired because of its diligent quest for food and its fearless response to soldier ants. Hausa magicians make a charm from the heart, skin, forehead and nails of the aardvark, which they pound together with the root of a certain tress. Wrapped in a piece of skin and worn on the chest this gives the owner the power to pass though walls or roofs at night.
